have u ever let somebody become ur world?.

then the next thing u know,they left u.

u are nothing,in pieces and hitting rock bottom.

has she eaten?hows her day today.

but im just to ego to ask that.

the thing is,i didnt leave her,she walk out the door.

CHAPTER 2.

(the lost boy)

after i mix around with all the big boys,i had started to be rebellious.

gone home later and so on,so at 12 years old.

i dont feel the love and care from my parents.

if i had stayed home,that would be im sleeping all day.

i prefer to go out or ill be restless at home.

i prefer to be outside or in kitchen.

so why now i behave like a little kid when anybody ask me.

i tell u why,i have forgotten what its feel like to be pampered by someone.

i have forgotten what is it like to be cared by someone.

i mean,i still stay and talk with my parents all.

yet i dont feel the love at all.

but i do care for them.after all,they are my flesh and blood.

and now i work for 16hrs a day.so i only meet my parents when i say

"hey dad,going off to work""bye!!"

and by the time i had gone home.everybody would be asleep.

my off day is as usual.catching up on my sleepless night.

so,theres a lesson to be learn here.

I NEED A FAMILY BONDING TIME!!ASAP!.

hey ya fellas,i came across a book of which is my idol and that is

Marco Pierre White,his autobiography..

just to make something simple..

his life story is the same as mine to say.

it all begins in

27/04/1992

the day that i was born in this world..i was staying in bukit batok when i was a lil.

so i dont quite remember a few things of course.

(the start of flipping books)(1997-1998.)

i shifted to jurong west and i was in a kindergarten school,where i often goes to school crying..

to think of that back..i myself dont know why i cried when going to school.

there i've met alot of friends.and goes on yet i cant remember much of it.

yet the day i remember the most was on the year of

(a sticky pad in my head)(1999.)

the day of my beloved grandmother pass away because of heart attack..

i was so close to her,when she passed on,i felt the pain yet my eyes wont nudge a tears out.

only a few days after laying on her bed.i cry myself to sleep missing her.

she bought for me toys and stuffs,she cooks for me..when she cooks.i would stand beside her

and watch her..

i told her.i wanted to be a chef..

at the age of 7 years old..i already wanted to be a chef.

the only thing my grandma said to me was to study hard..

so i did.

my whole family shifted to woodlands and so,that means new school.

so,new friends and new environment..

ive met new friends that last till now.

some even became best friends...

i admit,i was a rascal at school..i was the one who pulls the fire alarm and ran that type of kid

i was a devil in a human costume.but i only manage to get away by it so easily,

as i was only an little "angel" by then..HAA!

(big boys toys)(2004)

i started to mix out with the big boys from an school leaver place,

thats used to called project Bridge..

ive slowly pick up the habit of smoking..

at the age of 12.i could remember the first stick of mine.

is a Marlboro Red.

day by day after school i keep going to the same place to chill out and hang around.

got home late and scolding from parents is like a normal routine to me.

(never say never)(2006)

i was at the verge of giving up my secondary life..

and i told my maths teacher..i dont want to study all this bullshit stuff like

DnT,Home economics and most importantly..MATHS!

i told him,i wanted to be a chef!!.

his name was Mr ang..

yet after much of arguing,he told me.in order to be a chef.

i need to know maths to do counting,

i need to know history of where the food came from and

i need to learn to repair things when it gets spoil...

yes..its all make sense now as i can see..

so the only goal in my mind was to finish up my secondary life and move on

to what i want to become..to pursue this dream of mine into reality.

(focus)(2008)

i passed my "N" level with flying colours.

thought that i would flung the whole thing,yet again..i did not..

(chase the dream)(2009)

so i sign up at an ITE course thats called culinary skill.

i went for an interview..the chef that interviewed me said that i have slim chance in

getting in this course as my attendance was so shaky in my secondary life.

yet i explain to them why am i like this.

so they give a day to think about it.

and i've receive a call the next day to come for a second time interview.

i was accepted.

it was then..the passion was turn to HI-speed.

nothing can turn it off.

the love for food.

every single thing was so over the moon..

with the basics i was thought..

i went through hotels and restaurant to work part-time..

not for money but for knowledge.

for this 3 weeks i even work as a free-labour as they had full staff.

but i dont mind not getting paid i said.

i just wanna learn.

that's how iam willing to sacrifice my bones and flesh for this industry.

not for fame,money or anything.

i just want to be the best.

this year,i could sense that something wrong with my body,went to the doctor and

yes,just as i ve suspected..kidney infection.but im just ignoring it.

the pain sometimes on and off.but im just bear with it.

a few days earlier.i went to the doctor and told them that my chest was in pain after

getting up from bed,doc says that ive had an shock something2,which

he say that if im old enough,i may get heart attack if something like this happens again.

gulp!.....

remember the year in 1997-1998 where i told i've met alot of friends in kindergarten?

one of them was Quratu aini.

the first time i look into her eyes..i know there's something special in it.

to be frank,i feel lucky even when im not wearing my lucky boxers.

She was the girl who first counted stars with me,

she was the first girl who i let to played with my hair.

before each interview,its either i talk to her on the phone or MSG her.

and i know next is a positive remarks.

my head department of the school event put me in the

singapore national culinary team.

i was freaking hell nervous that time,my palms we are sweaty.

yet she's the one that let me side track.

things went terribly wrong and got a few misunderstandings along the way.

so yea.

but im glad that we are back to be friends now.

now im attatch to one of singapore finest restaurant thats called Les Amis.

ive never met such Crazy cunts and lads workmates.

finally..someone to talk about food.I Love them!.

even though its just 3 weeks there.but they already took me in as a family.

we had lunch,dinner together without fail

after all,most of them smoke Marlboro.

so i know they are good guys!.

if only grandma was still around..she would be proud.

i dont wanna lose him like i lose my grandma last time which i dont get to look at.

ive done a reflection and think about it.

i was so heartless.he came my house wanting to see me.

yet i was outside with my friends.

came home 3-4am in the morning where he already fallen asleep.

when the front door shuts.he was awoken..

all i could see on his face was a smile of missed.

i know that you miss me grandpa..same here.

after that,i would sleep all the way till late afternoon.by then he be off going home.

what a bad grandson iam.

he even remember my birthday in a few weeks time.

he even pass some stuff to my mum to pass it to me on my birthday.

i know that i cant return the favour of taking care of me since young.

all my wants and need u fulfill them.

yet i didnt have an hour to talk to you now when you are around.

dear grandpa,dont leave me now.

stay strong,cause i always love you.

thats is why thrs fri sat and sun im going malaysia to see him.

i scared that i will not get to see you again.

all i could do now is to pray to the almighty to keep u stronger.
